Mason was born and raised in Southwest Florida. He has always been in the company of dogs and showed a great interest in them from early on in his life. When he lived on a ranch in Fort Myers, he would exercise all the ranch dogs to make sure they were at peak physical ability. That’s when he recognized his own ability with training dogs and keeping them healthy. His grandmother suggested a career that involved dogs.
With that thought in mind, Mason was off to start his career. He started his education to become a Veterinary Technician while working as a Canine Rehabilitation Assistant and graduated from Heritage College in 2015. The following year, he attended The University of Tennessee to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) which had been his goal since starting in the veterinary field. Mason joined Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota as a CCRP in 2018. Now in his new office and new town, he hopes to bring the professionalism and success that has followed his career into Sarasota and the surrounding areas.
During his free time, you may find Mason with his two dogs Lily and Ozzie along the beaches and river banks of Sarasota County fishing or practicing his photography skills. He also enjoys tending to his fruit and flower garden or exercising with his dogs.
